The American People are stupid if

They believed anything Bush said yesterday about “troop withdrawals” and Iraq not being an “endless war”

Once again the only person calling the schmuck out is Olbermann

” Last year he escalated the war in Iraq, today he announced that there would be deescalation beyond July, yet somehow stood there with a straight face and lied about how he was withdrawing troops. Now, that was hardly the lone instance of dissembling, tortured logic, sophistry and outright dishonesty in Mr. Bush’s latest sugar-coating of the undeniable and unforgivable fact that he is continuing to arrange for the needless deaths of American heroes.”

  1. For him to have promised those going in that their terms will be limited to 12 months should be looked at with doubt too.
They will be told of extended stays and stop lossed like emprisoned serfs when the time comes as he did with the rest of the individuals stuck in our ‘volunteer army’.

I am really getting nervous. During Bush’s speach yesterday all I heard was Iran, Iran, Iran. I’m beginning to think Iran is going to be the October surprise. Does anyone believe Bush won’t go out with a bang?

I’m also thinking, given the torture meeting, that Bush and Co. have strong motivation for making sure McCain gets into office. He’d cover their asses.

Oh yeah, the American people have not only been stupid, but we have abdicated our responsibility to the Constitution. The real question is: will we fall for it again; will we vote for McCain because of a “crisis” Bush sets in motion? I’m beginning to see the groundwork. And let’s face it, McCain gets a pass for confusing Sunnis and Shias because to a lot of Americans an Arab is an Arab, even when they’re Persian.

If Bush invades Iran, demand impeachment. Demand it, becuase he and the dark lord are only acting as a lackeys of Exxon Mobile and Halliburton….

Pandora, I fear that you are on to something. Let’s just hope that Obama’s momentum in the fall will allow the Congress to grow a pair and put a stop to the madness.

    plato,

the only issue is that there is only 8 months left in office and the last 2 are a joke. Oh and thanks for visiting!

Since it’s been proven that Bush, specifically, signed-off on “Enhanced Interrogation” techniques and along with his cabinet members, in a perfect world, they should be brought up on charges, arrested, tried, and if found guilty, thrown in prison before he/they is/are able to cut and run to Paraguay.

While we at it, why don’t we find the true reason Bu$hCo went to war in Iraq? If it was found that they mislead us in any way, our government should seize all of the parties involved (war profiteering corporations too!) assets (money, land, etc) and deposit those assets back into our treasury…..

    …in a perfect world.

Also, one-time Bush voters must pay a 15% tax increase for 10 years; two-time Bush voters must pay a 30% tax for 15 years…. 😉

I know you were being facetious, but actually this will be pretty much covered when the capital gains and dividend portions of the Bush tax cuts expire. The capital cains will kick in when they try to sell those Halliburton stocks.

Even the deep thinkers are scared of what these guys might be up to.

    alan,

the drums are beating, but they are being muffled by the Race to the White House. Cheney was out there yesterday with Hannity talking about Iran and them still enriching. They know there window is closing and they want to take some action.

sick people man, very sick people.

Sick, scary, dangerous, but almost gone. Thank (insert diety here)! Keep a sharp eye on the Israeli army though.
