The terrorists won. I think when the President suspends the 4th Ammendment as a country we really should pack it in.
Couple that with the fact that no one in our country is even a little bit outraged (those that matter at least) pretty much makes their winning a slam dunk. Bin Laden 500 years from now is going to be the 2nd coming of Mohammed.

I am continually amazed that torture and other Constitutional violations by the current administration has not been more at the forefront of Presidential candidate platforms. While I do see that the economy presents much more immediate concerns for our nation, it is less important than destruction of the foundation of our country.

You gotta love republi-cons: More government in your lives when it comes to spying, torture, trashing the constitution, what you do in the bedroom and less government when it comes to protecting consumers, CEO salaries, Wall Street, Big Business, environment. What a joke they are.

Dis–if you want to see candidates talking about torture and the Constitution as centerpieces of their campaigns, I’m afraid you’ll have to visit some Libertarians . . . .
