This was on Marketplace this evening:
Most taxpayers will get anywhere from $600 to $1,200 from Uncle Sam as part of the federal plan to stimulate the economy. But many taxpayers will use the money to pay down debts instead. So, the IRS isn’t taking any chances.

It was an excellent story. I was ready to come here and start a riot when I heard it.
With Bush in the whitehouse eveything is plausible.

“We own the post office” was my final tipping point. By then it had gotten so outrageous I figured even Castle couldn’t have voted for it.
