Bush booed loudly while throwing out first pitch in Nationals home opener.»

President Bush delivered the first pitch tonight at the new Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. to a resounding chorus of boos. After being announced, Bush was showered by boos as he strode to the mound. Even after Bush delivered the pitch, the jeering did not let up until the President disappeared from the field. Watch it:

In 2006, Vice President Cheney was also loudly booed when he threw out the first pitch for the Nationals. In a rare move for a president, Bush missed the team’s home openers in both 2006 and 2007.

Washington Nationals manager Manny Acta caught Bush’s pitch. Acta was chosen after Paul Lo Duca, the Nationals’ catcher was by-passed due to his involvement with performance-enhancing drugs.

Have any of you seen “Bush’s War” on PBS last Tuesday and Wedensday? It was some eye opener. It was done by front line. Condi is a back stabber. Powell got fired. They all used lies to get where they wanted to be.
They really screwed up our country for the forseeable future. No wonder people booed his ass. I don’t get mad at him anymore. He is a retard that was put into his position because his old man had the money connections and U.S. Supreme Court connentions.. Plutocracy is on the back burner in what’s left of the GOP national and local. We are wittessing the break up of the GOP as we know it. Proof of that is the guy this now nominated was last on everyone’s list. Lazerous rises from the dead to get slaughtered with his party like the good soldier he is. McCain takes the shaft.

I believe Jason had a post up last week about it running.

Very enlightening. Paul Bremmer is a smug little creep.

Calm down, Joe. It was too high to be a strike against anyone shorter than Shaq.

  5. Von Cracker says:

Somehow, all that booing is good for John McCain.

  6. What a fucking scumbag.

There once was a time when we would never have booed a sitting president. It was all about respect for the office, even if we didn’t respect the man. After seven years of this yah-hoo there’s no respect for the office or the man. So very, very sad.
