Charlie Copeland Has About 20 Hours To Run As Far Away From Harris McDowell As He Can

I hate to be mysterious, but the time is not ripe.

One thing I will say, Copeland has Jeremy Firestone and Will Kempton snowed. He does not have me snowed though.

He couldn’t possibly have you snowed, because you MUST have a Republican that you can attach to McDowell & DeLuca.

He’s his own boy and I’m my own boy, regardless of your continual attempts to join us at the hip.

Didn’t Sen. Copeland back track on the open government question? Am I wrong on this?

To him open government means having a press conference about how great open government is and then going to secret breakfast strategy meetings to undo the work of the Public Service Commision.

    The suspense is killing me…

Not only the suspense, but the fact that someone has just told an inside joke and I’m the only one who didn’t get it.

The worst thing the senate GOPers are doing to backtrack on open government was to make an untractable grandstanding to force their bill through without debate and then go forward with the claim that now they are taking their ball home and the no dice is the DEMs fault.
Every one of them should sign Peterson’s petition to get her bill out of committee. Have they?

I do not think so. But you are right,Nancy, they need Karen’s open government policies. Her dad, Russ, would be proud and we do need open executive sessions. As I remember all the R’s advocated that some time ago and half the D’s.

I want to see who is paying whom….that that is the real problem isn’t it? Problem is good ol’ boys never like a sunshine policy do they? Backroom deals do not work so well when the people can scrutinize them, do they?

Or should be it be a trade off? We see who is scratching your backs, and you get to increase taxes?

Or will it simply be a demand for more tax money?

I think the clique will do everything they can to kill open government policies. Sorry Karen; I wanted it to work.

    Perfect.

I think Senator Copout should get horse whipped. Does he have an opponent yet?
With very little strength in the GOP Sen. Copout could get his ass beat? After all he is a Chamber of Commerce Stooge is he not?
