Four Uncommitted Delaware Delegates

Filed in National by on March 29, 2008

Tom Noyes mentioned on the radio that Delaware has four uncommitted delegates. I think those four going for Obama would be newsworthy.

I’m not sure how the process works, so this is an honest question: Does anyone think that it is time to write some polite letters to these folks reminding them that Delaware resoundingly chose Barack Obama to be the Democratic nominee for President?

I think we should find people willing to primary elected officials who vote for Clinton as superdelagates since DE went for Obama.

We should also find people who will challenge the positions of party officials who vote for Clinton as well.

We should find them and let the DE DEM Party know what is at stake if the go against the will of the Dem party primary voters at the national convention.

I have been told that one of those unpledged delegates may be hedging publicly and that another may be wavering privately.

I will be in Dover next week, working to see to it that the Delaware delegation reflects the preferences of the primary voters.

    Stay tuned.

Not sure if its worth the paper its written on, but I wrote 3 of the 4 seeking their support for Obama. I even wrote Minner (serial optomist). I did my best to lay out reasoning, beyond the obvious call that Hillary doesn’t have a chance. These are politicians after all. Their job security is not to piss us off too bad.
