handshakes and handgrenades people. Until I can crystalize my thoughts that’s all you get for now. I’m not going to lie and say that the Mrs. Viti has given me writers block. I remember watching some movies about this happening and never thought it was real. I can usually walk out of an evening like this one and come up with something awesome to write about. Some angle to take that spins me wildly out of control and enters recesses of my mind that you people can only begin to dream about existing.
there is something to be said about creative juices. They aren’t flowing just yet.
But the evening has alot do with handshakes and perceptions. If I can just GET MY FUCKING MIND around which direction to take with this.

First of all it was mind blowing to know that we have actual fans who have jobs that don’t allow me to name names, [you know who you are]. But meeting our great commenting partners in this enterprise was beyond awesome. [Hello TPN, Nemski, Brian, Cassandra, Pandora, Anon (the good Anon) , Disbelief and everyone I am forgetting to name.]

But what I think liked the most was meeting some of the beautiful, charming, funny, and smart spouses who make what we do possible. [Yes I’m looking at you Mrs. DV, Mrs. Xstryker and Mr. Pandora.]

Yeah, I mean, wtf! Wow. Drinking Liberally was INSANITY. I had a blast. You are all such cool people!
It was a great night. I so enjoyed meeting Cassandra and Pandora. Nemski, Joe M, Brian and TPN were wonderful also. It really makes this all worthwhile to meet such wonderful people.
I had such a great time, and I am seriously paying for it this morning.
You guys are great! I can’t wait for the next Drinking Liberally, although I may have to drink moderately.

Great to meet you all. You liberals know how to throw down! It was good fun no matter your political stripe. I hope we can all do it again soon.
Assuming that almost everyone else is too hungover or in too much legal trouble to comment at this point (watch out for check points you drunks); Good Morning everyone and it was awesome meeting you all. All of you were fantastic. I have to get some things off my chest here- they are of course as quirky as my democratic-libertarian mind can be: 1. DonV’s tiara (read hat) gave me a hard-on. 2. Cassandra was like viagra for my soul. 3. Jason and Pandora made me laugh all night. 4. Where the hell was Dana? 5. TPN rocks. 6. Excess is the path to wisdom.
It struck me as unfair to us lesser beings that Mrs. DV was even hotter than DV.
I propose legislation that hot people should have to do ugly people once a month: the Fuck Other Inferior A-holes Bill, or FOIA, or House Bill 69. I figure the DE legislature would get behind this bill, as the entire House and Senate prove the maxim, “Politics is show-biz for ugly people.” Plus, passage of the Bill 69 would give a respite to the Strine-led GOP group consisting of Stone and Vallihura; these two must get tired of screwing old people on a regular basis in order to protect Strine’s interests. HB 69 would give them, and the senior citizens, a break once a month.
Who knew how much fun it was meeting everyone.
Who knew we’d end up burning an effigy of GWB on the waterfront.

I had intended to go for just 30 minutes or so to say HI and ended up staying all evening — nonstop talking and laughing all the way. Jason and LG and DV — you guys should be really proud of the community you are building here.

Having such a vitality, diversity, and sense of community, beyond ideology even, in this “virtual” DL world such that “real” world relationships/friendships flourish is an accomplishment for which Jason and all of you in his merry band should be proud…
