  1. jason330 says:

Are we better off now than 8 years ago?

McCain: yes. We are better off. WTF?

  2. jason330 says:

Paul telling the truth. No we are not better off. What is he doing here asks romney.

  3. jason330 says:

Romney calling McCian liberal. Now flipp is flipping – go fighure.

  4. jason330 says:

McCain is no Republican. Red meat for the wingnuts flowing now.

  5. jason330 says:

McCain testy on endosrmsents. Oh my.

Romney thrid worst in job creation. Raised taxes. Big government, big spender. MASS LOST 14% OF ITS MANUFACTURING UNDER ROMNEY.

  6. jason330 says:

“Let me help you with the facts Senator…” oh snap.

  7. jason330 says:

Raised”FEES” not taxes. Remember that Dave Burris. Fees good taxes bad.

  8. Brian says:

    Huckabee jabbering about his theocracy.

  9. jason330 says:

Rush Limbaugh lover Mike Huckabee now speaking.

God this is boring. Huck is the real conservative becasue he wants to protect the frozen embryo americans.

  10. John Feroce says:

Your Communist News Network format sucks.

Are they going to serve tea?

  11. jason330 says:

My health care plan is not liberal! (Stomps feet)

  12. jason330 says:

McCain admits to global warming. He just lost Hube’s vote./

  13. Brian says:

John, the Communist News Network is ignoring Paul just as before. They are giving Romney a good hearing. Everytime McCain talks, I think I am going to puke.

  14. John Feroce says:

He wants California, it’s not that complicated. This ensures the Terminators endorsement.

  15. Brian says:

I assure you, if we are every attacked I will gladly lead the army out, but shit McInsane, I am not going to fuck-up-astan just to cover your ass or your oil buddies. Fuck that. Globalist jack off. You talk too much anyway and all sounds like: blah blah blah

  16. jason330 says:

Everyone is a federalists all of a sudden. Where was all this evironmental commen sense for the past 8 years?

  17. John Feroce says:

It really is crazy how they are allowed to unfairly divvy up the time.

  18. Brian says:

Mitt is being the CEO. That is what I would expect.

Paul ignored once again. Huckabee ignored. McInsane talking out of both sides of his mouth.

  19. jason330 says:

McCain is like the Grandpa who thinks he should “say a few words” at family events.

  20. jason330 says:

Slap down. Ron Paul blocked again.

  21. jason330 says:

Mike Huck wants to give work to the unions that Burris hates so much.

  22. Brian says:

Now huck is getting airtime and Paul ignored. But they are all talking about federalism…Wonder where Huck is getting his ideas from?

  23. John Feroce says:

    I hate traffic

  24. Brian says:

Listen to that crap. Now Huck wants to be FDR and build “superhighways.” For NAFTA? Down with Huckabee. Ship more jobs to mexico…no…we need them here.

  25. John Feroce says:

Mitt makes a good point about the stimulus needing to take place now

  26. cassandra m says:

Paul makes an excellent point re: spending money over there rather than here.

  27. jason330 says:

McCain seems like he wants to be the President of the US Senate.

  28. jason330 says:

Reminder: McCain is the guy who said that we are better off now than we were 8 years ago?

  29. cassandra m says:

Aw c’mon. It is no secret how the mortgage crap happened.

  30. cassandra m says:

Look Ma! Tax cuts! And jeez, these fools are talking about spending on infrastructure and power projects and yet there needs to be spending cuts?

  31. jason330 says:

Now we have to make psychic contact with Ron Raygun and find out what he would do according to Willard.

  32. John Feroce says:

This is all fun and games, but admit it.

When it comes to understanding numbers, Romney crushes.

  33. jason330 says:

Now it is going to be who wants th ehighest fence.

  34. jason330 says:

Mitt is going to say “30 feet” and McCain will say “60 feet tall!”

  35. John Feroce says:

Would you change laws that give citizenship only to children born to LEGAL immigrants?

This is a no brainer YES, YES, YES

  36. cassandra m says:

Uh No. Romney is promising to spend alot of money too. Just on corporate welfare. He just thinks that there are savings to be had in Social Security and Medicaid and that math just don’t work.

  37. jason330 says:

Mitt: 90 day deportations. Or let the kids to complete the schoool year.

  38. jason330 says:

Mitt gets the first appluase of the night.

  39. John Feroce says:

I hope to God you guys make allowing or ignoring illegal immigration a platform

  40. jason330 says:

The Dem position is to bust the employers who are creating the situation.

The non-enforcement that Republicans favor is hypocritical.

  41. cassandra m says:

At my most cynical moments I wish that these repubs would get their world without illegal immigrants. Talk about immediately tanking huge bits of the economy.

But McCain is right that employer surveillance really is the way to go — they don’t come if the jobs are not there are just too much at risk.

  42. cassandra m says:

Why is Nancy Reagan wearing George Burns’ glasses?

  43. jason330 says:

Scalia and Thomas? Wahat a phoney!

  44. jason330 says:

I happend to meet Mrs. Reagan when she was first lady and her head is HUGE!

It was crazy big. Easily 1/3 rd of her body weight.

  45. cassandra m says:

Alot of actors have really big heads. Daniel Day Lewis has a giant head (and was excellent in There Will Be Blood….)

  46. jason330 says:

That looks interesting. Kind of bleak.

So who is winning? Ron Paul? He’s been allowed 10 words so far.

  47. Brian says:

    See Republicans hate being Republican.

  48. jason330 says:

“I don’t think the Republican party is better off. But is not Bush’s fault.”

What a liar. Just tell the truth for once Mitt.

  49. jason330 says:

Oh man these guys are going to lose bad. Still loving on Bush.

  50. John Feroce says:

He did keep us safe, can’t deny that

  51. Brian says:

They are being liberal and without Paul, there is no discourse or real debate. You say sensorship I say censorship.

  52. jason330 says:

    Absoquizablly NO!

  53. jason330 says:

He did keep us safe, can’t deny that

    Bullshit.

  54. John Feroce says:

Romney didn’t, he said there should be metrics for the administration to work toward, which is smart

  55. Brian says:

“He did keep us safe, can’t deny that”

We are less safe now John. The rest of the world is on a war footing and even France is working against us. See Del. Libertarian site.

  56. jason330 says:

John we are less safe now thatnks to Bush, can’t deny that.

  57. John Feroce says:

    Bullshit

Where has the attack occured in the US?

  58. Brian says:

metrics of achivement. Ok. metircs for biometrics not ok. I do not want a national Id card.

  59. John Feroce says:

We are talking about attacks on our soil, so within that framework..where has the attack occured?

  60. Brian says:

John, wait a couple a years it won’t be one war it will be a big one. These guys are yapping about war, not about the real problem which is our policy. You sow thew wind you reap a storm.

  61. jason330 says:

We are winning in IRAQ! We are kicking ass! Why is that so hard for liberals to understand?

  62. Brian says:

No attacks here, but what are they going to do get a few guys and shoot a bazooka at us from 6000 miles away?

  63. jason330 says:

Anthrax John. Do we forget so quickly?

  64. Brian says:

This is crap. John McCain is so full of crap. Those Vietnam years must have gone to his brain.

  65. Brian says:

Mitt- rule of law. Can we begin to follow the rule of law?

  66. cassandra m says:

But it is supposed to be a Global War on Terror and by every metric from the State Department the incidences of terrorist activity (with or without Iraq) has gone up every year since 9/11.

  67. jason330 says:

Mccain is a blood thirsty Mofo. that means he’ll win the nomination.

  68. Brian says:

McCain is going down. He is unbeleivably insane.

  69. jason330 says:

Oh don’t try to get a Kool aid drinking like Feroce to think everything is not super-duper here in safe ole US of A.

  70. Brian says:

Cassandra that is because only Paul is addressing the poilicy that will end the war and bring the peace. These other guys are warmongering to win domestic support, but if you go over to Paul’s site over 50% of contributions are coming from Iraq war vets.

  71. Brian says:

They are losing the vets support as they speak.

  72. Brian says:

This should be called the McCain/ Romney debates.

  73. jason330 says:

    100 years!!! Bitches!!

  74. John Feroce says:

“Oh don’t try to get a Kool aid drinking like Feroce to think everything is not super-duper here in safe ole US of A.”

It’s better than anywhere else in the world. If you don’t think so, then fucking move.

  75. donviti says:

Ron paul to the rescue he must be driving these guys nuts 6 days before Super Tuesday

  76. donviti says:

doesn’t mean we can be better Giovanni

  77. jason330 says:

Paul is on fire all of a sudden. Mitt’s head is going to explode.

  78. donviti says:

Huckabee triangulates better than Clinton. Plus he has no idea what is going on

  79. John Feroce says:

I live by a quote you should read sometime.

“Remember that there is nothing stable in human affairs. Avoid, therefore, undue excitement in prosperity or undue despair in adversity” -Socrates (5th Century B.C.)

  80. Brian says:

This is nuts. Huckabee is using the same argument that McNamara used in Vietnam.

  81. jason330 says:

Not until Bush is out John. I don’t want to be the victim of his crazy foreign policies.

  82. donviti says:

    uh oh

the old well we can’t let the dead soldiers be wasted soldiers

  83. Brian says:

Yes McCain is showing us how nuts he is.

  84. John Feroce says:

You’re right DV, we can be better.

That doesn’t mean we aren’t the best.

What’s the name of the better place?

  85. jason330 says:

Go McCain !! 100 years bitches!!

  86. Brian says:

Win- what does that mean jerk off.

  87. donviti says:

how about living by “do unto others”

work on that first then move on to ones with more nouns later

  88. Brian says:

McInsane showing us his full spectrum of complexes.

  89. donviti says:

here we go trying to find out how Huckabee reads souls.

Do you hear him? Human rights violations? Oppression?

    Putin or Bush?

oh and he is quoting Mr Alzheimers

  90. Brian says:

Huck just bites the Ron Paul ideas.

  91. Brian says:

    Authoritarian Leaders…we know about those.

  92. donviti says:

I love listening to these guys talk about authoratarian leaders with a straight face

  93. donviti says:

anyone else annoyed that when you hit submit it scrolls you up about 10 comments!!!!!!

    GEEK fix that damn it!

  94. Brian says:

Oh, I am shitting my pants.

  95. donviti says:

Did Mitt Romney go to a tanning salon recently?

  96. Brian says:

    I am so damn scared.

  97. jason330 says:

Russia is trying to take over the world with energy.

China is trying to ake over the world with Wild West.

A Q is trying to bring everything down.

We are trying to take over the world with stupidity.

  98. Brian says:

    McCain is screwed here.

  99. jason330 says:

I here you Brian – these guys are nuts.

  100. donviti says:

    I know how to lead….grrrrrrrr

I lead for patriotism not for profit.

    I just threw up

  101. Brian says:

McCain- “I have never led anything” Oh. you demo-craps are getting some of the stright talk now…

  102. donviti says:

“when the gooks locked me up, I learned how to lead”

  103. Brian says:

McCain- “I screwed Nancy Pelosi in the backdoor. That’s how I get what I want.” Straight talk…

  104. donviti says:

    I respect Mc Cains service

but did he know my kids are serving their country RV’ing across it!!!

  105. John Feroce says:

Governors not Senators win. No denying it

  106. Brian says:

“Uh…when I wrecked four airplanes I learned how to lead….”

  107. Annie says:

The venom is just under the surface. Mitt is complete plasticine (?). It is making me uncomfortable to watch this. Watching Hill and Obama is a helluva lot easier listening. I gotta get a life if this is how I’m spending my evenings….

  108. cassandra m says:

Hey Mittens, you have to become a liberal in order to lead MA and that wasn’t so hot…..

  109. Brian says:

    I respect Mc Cains service

Better ask the Vietnam Vets about that. He left the POW’s behind.

  110. cassandra m says:

The last guy with so-called private economy cred gave us the almost 8 year mess we are in now.

  111. donviti says:

To run the Military as Commander in Chief? can someone clarify that for me…

  112. jason330 says:

    Oh Annie – embrace it!

  113. cassandra m says:

Well BushCo is still AWOL from the National Guard…

  114. jason330 says:

I’m amazed that they still feel the need to cling to and prop up Bush. It is totally insane.

  115. Brian says:

Great No on the job training either. See you youngsters are screwed.

  116. John Feroce says:

    Romney messed up this answer

He should have answered “I was a Commander in Chief of the Massachusetts National Guard”.

  117. donviti says:

the government is famous for OJT (on the job training) they practically created it

  118. donviti says:

oh I have an Idea. Maybe Ron Paul should start using his full name “Ronald” he might get some legs out of that.

He is going to school these idiots with this question

  119. Jason O'Neill says:

Thank God for Bush who stood up for all us Americans, for OUR safety. 9/11 was a historic day that rocked this country to the core. This country was taken off-guard by decades of complacency that we won’t be attacked – we are the U.S. We were attacked, and it showed we have work to do.

We have again forgotten about 9/11, and it will cost us again. When – who knows. But get in to the trap and we will agan be take off guard.

To those that doubt Bush for his policies since then. Let me remind you that for thousands of families, they will not see their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, husbands and wives.

What occurred on 9/11 was the worst day of my life. Having been born in NYC, it rocked my world. I have consoled friends and family who have witnessed and lost friends/families the attacks from the ground (watched the bodies drop), and moments from being underneath WTC in the subway when the towers attacked.

I have witnessed my hometown be attacked by undespicable people who have NO REGARD for life.

And I am constantly reminded of 9/11 each time I visit family and see that solemn hole that was once the WTC and cannot forget the thousands who lost their lives that day.

  120. Annie says:

Excuse me Brian. He still wears his POW bracelet He left the Hanoi Hilton in correct turn, not taking an early out because his father was an admiral Say all you want about McCain but he served his country well. He worked to heal the wounds of Viet Nam. Stick to the real issues, not your fantasy.

  121. donviti says:

How is Ron Paul going to win the GOP by saying he “wants the people to be free” he didn’t get the Memo.

    OH he just slapped bush!

    Huckabee just started the wahmbulance

  122. Brian says:

    Yeah annie ask the Vets.

  123. donviti says:

Ignoring the 10th Amendment or Commandment?

  124. Brian says:

The vets he blocked from getting home. Opps can’t ask them they are dead now.

  125. donviti says:

If he did that was way to long to read. This thread is all about one liners O’Neill

  126. Chris says:

The only thing making me sick is your twisted views of life.

I was completely undecided coming into tonight. Based on this debate here is my ranking.

    1. Mitt
    2. Huck
    3. McCain
    4. Paul

I realize why you guys hate Mitt so much. Because he could easily defeat Clinton and show Obama to be the Gomer he is.

  127. cassandra m says:

Huck may have been governor longer, but he also left it with the best selection of Lovely Parting Gifts, too.

  128. Brian says:

Read McCain’s book. He lays it out there. Keating 5.

  129. jason330 says:

    jason O –

I hope you don’t think that our reponse to 9-11 was effective or approriate.

  130. donviti says:

ruh roh, the faucet is on Huckabee and he turns on the compassionat voice. So sickening. McCain leans forward and has a wierd grin on his face like he is taking a satisfying shit or something

  131. Jason O'Neill says:

sorry, but too many have forgetten what happened on 9/11. And why it is important for us to protect our nation.

  132. Brian says:

    Ron Reagan- Ron Reagan-Ron Reagan.

  133. donviti says:

chris, put down the bong my friend.

Go visit Missouri with Romney and pray on the promised land

  134. jason330 says:

“Reagan would kiss me on the mouth and hand me a golden scepter.”

  135. donviti says:

uh no JO, we are constantly reminded of it by Rudy, McCain, Bush and all the rest of them dude.

Every time we here AQ it reminds us of 9/11 come on man

  136. Rebecca says:

Just back from an Obama fundraiser. One of his field people said they have over 1200 people signed up to see Michelle Obama at the Grand tomorrow and they are expecting a similar crowd down in Dover. In Delaware! On a work day! My gosh and golly.

  137. cassandra m says:

No one has forgotten 9/11 and no one has a monopoly on the pain and horror of that day. What many of us have learned since then is that BushCo had no intention of really making sure that those who perpetrated it were bright to justice and he had no intention of making sure that Americans had all of the security that we pay so dearly for.

  138. jason330 says:

I remember 9/11. We were attacked by 10 guys with box cutters – so we bombed the shit out of a random country.

    How does that protect us?

  139. donviti says:

Is ronald Reagan dead? has anyone asked Nancy how she feels about this bullshit

Woahah look at those glasses. Is she dating Harry Karry?

  140. Brian says:

Hang on Becky we need to talk about the Republicans now.

  141. Jason O'Neill says:

I do think our response more so in Afghanistan was effective, appropriate and necessary.

With regars to Iraq, the collective universe including Bill Clinton, and other Dems all understood that Saddam had WMDs. What we learned was the world intelligence community did not have the facts entirely correct. He did have the intent, and it was stated he was going to get them in due time.

The management of the war, post-liberation was not 100% effective.

The surge is now working, and we must finish the job. Not just for us, but for our allies and for the region.

  142. donviti says:

    anyone watching MSNBC?

  143. cassandra m says:

Isn’t Missouri the place where some Christian group thinks the Rapture starts?

  144. Brian says:

    Nancy should comment.

  145. donviti says:

JO we are blogging about the debates or 9/11?

  146. Brian says:

The surge is now working, and we must finish the job. Not just for us, but for our allies and for the region.

Jason, nice Vietnam Argument. You could be McNamara.

  147. donviti says:

I thought Missouri was where the Mormons have designated their Holy Land? Am I wrong?

  148. Brian says:

Lol. I think you are right.

  149. R Smitty says:

Sorry all – just checking in…was the video-audio out of synch for you, too?

Has Brian been spooging about Ron Paul all night, too?

  150. Chris says:

“chris, put down the bong my friend.”

You must have confused me with a democrat. Unlike your buddy Obama (and probably you as well), I have stayed far away from the bong and other illegal substances.

Hmm…maybe there is a connection here. Maybe it is drug use that leads to liberalism….

  151. Jason O'Neill says:

To those who doubt our post-9/11 strategy, I suggest you read the book: The Cell, by John Ritter. It tells you of the Al-Qaeda and other Islamofascist plots.

The answer (and hint): they were financed by somebody. Taliban and Saddam.

  152. donviti says:

    no
    and
    not really

  153. cassandra m says:

Intent or no, Saddam did not have WMDs and was under pretty serious sanctions (sanctions that Powell was in the process of trying to loosen before 9/11)which restricted what he could get PLUS Tony Blair and Clinton were bombing the shit out of strategic sites every time Saddam put a toe over the line.

So Afghanistan is still a mess and the US is frantically looking for more resources to deploy there AND Pakistan is the biggest flash point on the planet right now. Altho I guess that you might call this success if you are a repub.

  154. donviti says:

but like bush you just got done powdering your nose and downing a fifth of jack?

  155. Jason O'Neill says:

9/11 was a subset of the debates….. we can talk about this later…. or when the Dems decide to pull up their skirts and run for the hills.

  156. jason330 says:

The management of the war, post-liberation was not 100% effective.

    Oh Jeez.

The surge is now working, and we must finish the job.

What do you mean by working? None of the goals of the surge have been met. NONE! No movement toward civil or political stability.

What does the word “working” mean to you?

  157. John Feroce says:

    “anyone watching MSNBC?”

    DV..just an FYI…nobody watches MSNBC!

  158. Chris says:

“but like bush you just got done powdering your nose and downing a fifth of jack?”

Sorry. I am clean…too squeky clean for your tastes I am sure. The hardest thing I drink is Mountain Dew Code Red.

  159. donviti says:

I guess jas you have to like the fact we have moore wing nuts visiting…in a way it is a good thing

  160. donviti says:

so then why bust on the democrats for weed when your president has done coke and had a dui?

you are such a putz chrissy. I missed you

  161. donviti says:

besides as a conservative you shouldn’t be concerned with what I do in my private life…

  162. jason330 says:

I like out R’s DV – I feel like Jane Goodall must have felt amoungst the chimps.

They are endlessly fascinating in thier chimpy ways.

  163. R Smitty says:

DV – sorry…missed your reply, trying to catch up…not easy to do.

Nah, not like Bush, no coke. I’ve replaced that with an additional fifth of Jack.

How was Ruth Chris the other night, btw?

  164. Brian says:

Donviti…I said it before nobody wants to be conservative they want to be liberal so bad they imitate the policies of liberals.

  165. donviti says:

fantastic! got the filet with side of mushrooms….medium rare. to die for

  166. jason330 says:

Fox has “super bowl ads” on Hannity. I guess with rudy out they don;t have a dog in the fight anymore.

  167. Brian says:

Liberal spending, liberal taxing, liberal war, liberal borrowing liberal on all these issues. It is great to know that there is real diversity out there.

  168. donviti says:

    Brian,

sort of like the wide stance people I imagine

  169. R Smitty says:

Now, what to do when you still have no dog in this fight? Sigh.

Hey Brian…I like how you are wearing your tin foil hat because you despise McCain. HA HA HA! Remember, bud, the swift boat campaign against Kerry was dispicable, so is that conspiracy-laced site you reference in other places.

TPN makes a concerted case for Paul, you will make it a joke with your tin foil links.

  170. John Feroce says:

    I’m done…have fun

  171. jason330 says:

    I don;t mean to give smitty a complex – but I’m out.

    ‘night all.

Peace! We are All Americans remember!

  172. Brian says:

Dude, I just saw that. I know McCain is an ass. That is enough for me. Read his book some time smitty he laws half the shit out there. I did not need the site to tell me he was an ass. He told me in his book. And every Vietnam vet I have met told me too.

  173. R Smitty says:

    DV:
So, will you possibly rescind your no-four-star-restaurants (without a discount) policy? You have a taste of the darkside now. What to do? What to do?

Well, Brian, your linking it on FSP, dropping it here…you’re giving it some credence. Has every vet you spoken to dealt directly with him?

Funny thing is, I am enamored with NO ONE in this race, yet that shit pisses me off. It pissed me off when the Swift Boat Veterans pulled their partisan crap, which is exactly what it was.

  175. Brian says:

Ok; sorry, truce; but I asked a big group of vets. It was not like they said this now, most of them were telling me this back during the first McCain run.

  176. Brian says:

The funny thing is that the democrats are holding all this in reserve when and if McCain gets the nomination .

    Good night everybody!

Yup, saw that in discussion on some dem boards. While it may seem fair with the way Kerry was swift boated in 2004, it wouldn’t be a good strategy. I think when when people took a hindsight look at the swift boat strategy, it pissed a lot of people off.

    BREAKING: AH-nold to endorse McCain!

AH-nold’s relatives still in Austria granted immediate amnesty!
