Obama to Open Up Shop in DE

Filed in National by on January 13, 2008

I just got this email from the Obama campaign.

Hi, my name is Brandon Hurlbut and I worked on the political staff for the Obama for America campaign in NH beginning last April.

The Obama campaign is going to compete aggressively to win DE. I am the first staff member assigned to DE and will be arriving in DE today where I will be temporarily staying with Rob Carver who has volunteered significant time helping us get off the ground in your state. I am excited to meet and work with all of you. With your help and guidance, we can win DE and put another state on the board for Barack on Feb 5th.

Our first priority will be to secure a office space where we can gather to make phone calls and host meetings. Please let me know if you have any ideas – especially if the space can be donated for a few weeks. I hope you will volunteer to help Barack win DE – please call me to let me know how you would like to be involved. Thanks again!

Brandon

You have no idea how difficult it has been to not put in a few addresses in here as suggestions 🙂

    Your restraint is noted.

Ask the Obama camp…who are his advisers. lets see if they are honest enought to tell you…zbig brezenski for foreign policy, and Dennis Ross for Palestine/Israel conflict! If you think these are people of change, I got a whole country to sell you.

  4. jason330 says:

You know, you’ve got a point Liz. I think I’ll just vote for John McCain. I mean fuck it, right?

  5. Dana says:

Let’s see, it was January 13th, and Mr Hurlbut is telling you, just now, that he’ll be “the first (Obama) staff member assigned to DE” (he couldn’t even spell out the name of the state in an e-mail?), has no idea where to even find office space, and he’s going to help y’all win a primary three weeks from now.

The real question is: was his previous job getting signatures to get Fred Thompson on the ballot? 🙂

  6. David says:

Channelling donviti: “I’ve got your office space right here.”

So they’re looking for some people to do the spadework?

    (wait for it…)

What’s wrong with you people. Give the guy a break. Do you have any idea how hard these people work for their candidate? I think not. Grow up!
