Hube Thinks That Being Elected President Comes With an “On The Job Training” Period

Filed in National by on November 2, 2007

Maybe it is from being a teacher which is a profession that nobody is good at on day one of year one.

Anyway, Hube thinks poor widdle Bush was “just getting his feet wet” as President when Bin Laden attacked, so I should lay off.

What a jackass.

Like many wingnuts, he simply can’t admit that he was wrong about Bush.

  2. disbelief says:

Well, its a good ‘sound byte’ to use on the parents of slain soldiers, “Sorry about your son/daughter; I’m just getting my feet wet.”

Actually, they did get some OTJ training. They chose to ignore it because they believed their own hype that everything not-Clinton was right. Through their incompetence, bin Laden was able to move, plan and execute without a watchful eye.

Here is a times story that touches on it.

based on that logic than Obama and Edwards are a no brainer and Rudy is pointless.

    awesome Hube!

  5. Phantom says:

    DV,
You are forgetting the Flipp, McCain, Huckabee, etc. should also not be working towards the presidency with this logic. Hube must have forgotten Bush’s little known position as governor of Texas where he got to kill many inmates and pass laws that helped make Texas dead last in so many categories.

Actually it comes from making sense and having to deal with the myriad assholishly partisan nimrods who think bad ‘ol Bush is responsible for the attack on 9/11. After being in office SEVEN MONTHS. After receiving a GENERAL REPORT on a POSSIBLE attack from bin Laden.

Of course, if YOUR party’s president had actually DONE SOMETHING to thwart bin Laden beforehand, then 9/11 wouldn’t have been an issue, right idiots? RIGHT? Maybe THAT’S what Sandy Berger was “sloppy” about when he took those archive records down his shorts.

You remain a complete asshole, Jason. Come out of the closet and join your bethren in the 9/11 Truther Movement.

Bush is a mental midget and so are is followers.

Clinis would’ve had OBL caputed and killed by now…

    Damn ‘h’!

Here is a better article on where the blame lays. While Clinton doesn’t get a pass, neither does Bush and his bumbling band of badasses.

Did I mention that I love having access to the back issues of the NYTimes?

I didn’t really know which post this best fit in, but thought it was important enough for everyone to see, I hope you don’t mind me putting here.

Question is: This happened during Clinton’s last days. It was all deemed credible, what should the US have done irrespective of who the President was/is? Ignore it?
Note: My position is Bush has completely mismanaged this war.
Having said that, I still think we needed to act somehow. So what is the answer if we couldn’t get inspectors in. Anyone?

    * DV let me save you the trouble of telling me I need to get my own blog. I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog everyday.

    Hi J,

Glad you enjoy our humble abode. That is a fair question. Truly the answer is to follow up on Curveball by investigating. It is possible that Curveball’s intel gained more urgency after 9/11.

My concern is the use of the 1% doctrine. Is a 1% chance really something to go to war on? The WMD’s may have exceeded 1% likely, but there was so little corroborating evidence that you have to dig for more to confirm.

That is probably why Clinton didn’t go to war or tip his hand with Iraq. But if you are looking for a reason to take out a dictator, perhaps the Bush Administration didn’t need much encouragement.

  12. J says:

    Thanks for the reply.

Agreed, I guess the fact it was German gained Intel should have moved the threshold higher and have been fully corroborated with our own crack at him.

  13. Dana says:

Serious question: just what other position can a person hold which makes him both qualified to be president and immediately good, on his first day in office?
