Comment Rescue: What bothers me about my conservative brothers

I agree we should wait for the next report before storming offices of local politicians.

My Reply:

Meanwhile Iraqis are being killed by the thousands and Americans are spending blood and treasure in order to avoid the inveitable reality that this war was such a bad idea that the very act of begining it  doomed it to failure.

No matter. We need to protect the President so ISG report (not the 9/11 report by the way) says we need to set up an Iraqi police force. Done and Done. Super!! That’s progreess right?

Only one little problem. The ISG reccomendations are setting up police forces that give intellegence to AQ and help coordinate attacks.

Bottom Line: This war is bullshit. We should be out and I think everyone at FSP knows it in thier heart of hearts.

They can’t admit it because it would be admiting that the “liberals” were right all along. I don’t give a shit about being recognized for my brilliant insight. I don’t want recognition. If it helps, they can go around saying that it was thier idea to get out of Iraq – I’m good with that.

    I was just sitting here feeling a bit pissed becasue I got equally fed up and stinking tired of .blogspot and had just made the move over to .wordpress for my blog.

    And for the record, by the way, for the life of me,I so not know why my friend, Shirley should shoulder this ridiculous sham….you freakin ought to know who Shirley Vandever is you DE Liberal Idiot!!!!!!!!!!!ENOUGH!

    That would be my perspective knowing that Shirley holds as many candles as may be wished upon anyone’s life time is any context…in other words I am one big golly gee.

    Why you have not put her onto your rounup is none of my business…but the idea that her contribution should be summed in this manner is evidently something left to the experts.

    House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) said Monday that a strongly positive report on progress on Iraq by Army Gen. David Petraeus likely would split Democrats in the House and impede his party’s efforts to press for a timetable to end the war.

    “We, by and large, would be wise to wait on the report.”

    Actually, history has already proven me right. I said at the time (before my blogging days) that we simply could not afford to go into Iraq.

    I was right.

    Now I say that if we leave I fear the chaos that would ensue and the lives that would be lost would pale in comparison to the damage done so far.

    We’ll see what Petraeus says in September.

    The NeoCons uncorked this bottle. The bottle remains uncorked. This year, next year, the year after. The Bushies only plan now is to get out of town before the explosion, so they can blame it on their successors.

    But history will remember who pulled out the cork.

    The NeoCons sowed the wind with their lies and leave the rest of us to reap the whirlwind.
