The Radio Ad 3 Days In

Filed in Uncategorized by on May 31, 2007

It is hard to figure out whether or not a radio ad is having an impact on website traffic, but I think I have found some evidence that we are gaining traction.  WordPress gives stats on all sorts of things.  One of the stats is the search terms that people used to find the site.  Last week the number of people searching for “Delaware Liberal” or some form of that was about 15 per day.  Yesterday 33 people searched for it, today the number is over 60.  I think that people are hearing the ad, but forgetting the address.  Google is your friend.  Welcome radio listeners.

I was at the Governor’s Tourism Summit today and that was the fist of several presenters.

“Look at my ad! Look at my ad!” You are getting worse than the “Look at the bay-beeeeee” people! Trust me, I know.

“Look at my ad,” “Hear my ad,” whatever.

Have you seen my new bumper sticker?

“i’m the proud parent of an honor roll WDEL Ad.”

  5. motsmitty says:

Great. Jason-hearts-Fulcher. You paid his salary, afterall. Loser.

  6. motsmitty says:

Think about that…every ad you buy helps pay Fulcher’s and Jensen’s salary. I hope it makes you feel like you need a shower.

  7. liberalgeek says:

We only bought the ad because you are such an avid listener. And don’t be so jealous. You picked the wrong side. Live with your choice. 🙂

  8. motsmitty says:

I am humbled, I was mistaken indeed. My comment should have read: liberalgeek-hears-Fulcher. Mea Culpa!

    Obviously, all in jest! 🙂
    You-heart-Jensen.

Or maybe they have RAM-approved dummy diplomas and can’t spell Delaware.

I figure if the Wesley people can find us, everyone can… 😉
