Castle on WDEL: “Gen. Patreus is the King of America”

Filed in National by on April 30, 2007

More magical ass quips from Mr. Castle.

Castle just said that when the time comes Gen. Patreus will tell the President that it is time to leave Iraq – and Bush will say “Okay.” (Cuz’ you know… Bush is reasonable.)

Castle also claims that he considered defying Bush on his most recent appropriations vote. What a crock of BS.

Castle’s magical ass also stated that Congress has never directed the President on military matters. So this must not be a video of John McCain calling for troops to be removed from Somalia. And Congress must not have set a time-line for getting out of Kosovo. And Congress never voted to defund the war in Viet Nam. All those things never happened because Castle’s magical ass is omniscient.

BTW – Props to Loudell for naming Delawareliberal – but negative props for letting Castle use the third person tense throughout instead of making him step up and say that he, himself thinks.

Congress didn’t attempt to direct WWII because:
    a. We were winning, and
    b. It was over sooner than this Iraq war.
